Some little girls are still being raised with the notion that if they are just beautiful enough, someone will come along to give them the affluent life of a princess, where nothing else will be expected of them. Rampant plastic surgery, anorexia/bulimia, "bridezillas" and crippling low self esteem are some of the results of this folklore.
